THE WAIVER

In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound do hereby waive and forever release all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against NEWSED Community Development Corporation, Cinco de Mayo Denver and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees for all injuries to me or my personal property. 

This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me and my pet(s) before, during, or after the event. I recognize, intend, and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees. 

I know that I enter my pet(s) in this race at my own risk. I certify my pet(s) are current on vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo & Bordetella).  

I further understand for safety reasons female dogs in heat, aggressive dogs, and puppies under 12 weeks will not be permitted to participate. I certify that my pet(s) are healthy, free from parasites and infectious diseases to join in this race. 

I understand that this is a charity race for small (less than 20lbs) canines only. 

My pet has not and will not be given any enhancement products before, during, or after this race. 

I assume all risks associated with injury of my pet(s) to any other animal, person or property and or escape. 

I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services, vet services and treatment rendered to me, or my pet(s) including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment, and hospitalization. 

By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above release and waiver. 

Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, video graphics or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.
